Magos Tawren

Tawren survives the destruction of technical and communications systems and becomes an essential partner to the surface resistance. Her knowledge of compromised data and possible recovery gives Ventanus an objective that can change more than the immediate firefight. The defence of the technical effort buys time for that objective.

At the guildhall, she can see the narrowing interval before annihilation. The ground force’s fury alone cannot remove the enemy’s control. When authorities in the weapons system shift, she acts at once and sends the killcode through the opening. Her later movement toward the arcologies keeps her among the survivors who must maintain life below. The record emphasises the dependency between technical work and military protection: neither replaces the other, and both require people able to recognise a brief opportunity under extreme pressure.
