Kor Phaeron

Kor Phaeron commands from the Infidus Imperator and participates in directing the attack through Calth’s captured weapons system. His role links the opening naval destruction to the deliberate use of infrastructure against the planet and its gathered forces.

When Guilliman reaches him, warp power gives Kor Phaeron a severe advantage. He then chooses the prospect of turning a wounded primarch over simply finishing him. That ambition brings him close enough for Guilliman’s devastating response. The text shows his primary heart torn out, then shows surviving Word Bearers carrying him away alive. This dossier preserves that distinction. It does not convert a grave wound into an unsupported death or use the encounter to claim that the larger catastrophe has been undone.
